How Biscuits in the Park Works

Friendship and dating for animal lovers

Biscuits in the Park is a social network for pet owners — a place to find a personal friend or a romantic date for both yourself and your pet. Here’s the whole process, start to finish.

Step 1

Create your profile — and your pet’s

Every account pairs a person profile with one or more pet profiles: photos, breed, age, and temperament. It’s not just a dating app with a photo of your dog in it — your pet is part of the match, not a bio tag.

Step 2

Answer a few compatibility questions

A short set of questions about your interests, values, and what you’re looking for powers your Matches ranking, so the people you see first are the ones you actually have things in common with.

Step 3

Browse Matches or Search nearby

Matches ranks other members by how closely your answers align. Search lets you filter directly by gender, age, height, relationship type, pet species, and distance from your postal code — so you can find dog people, cat people, or fellow reptile owners within as many (or as few) miles as you want.

Step 4

Message, favorite, and meet up

Save the profiles you like to Favorites, start a conversation, and take it from there — a walk in the park, a coffee, a playdate for your pets. Whether you’re after a new friend, a fellow dog-park regular, or a date who won’t roll their eyes at pet photos, the choice is yours.

Is it free?

Yes — signing up, building your profile, and browsing are free, and every new account starts with a free trial of premium features. See the Billing page after signing up for details.
